First you will explore Cobá, the Mayan kingdom that began its settlement more than 2,300 years ago. In this archaeological site we can find the building of Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramidal basement of the whole Yucatan peninsula. Built more than 1,000 years ago and if you want, you can climb to the top to enjoy the view of the mayan rulers. To make this experience more enjoyable, your certified guide will take you on a bike ride or bike taxi inside the old city of Cobá, making stops to learn about the most important buildings and temples.
The archaeological ecotour continues with the descent to a closed cenote. A spectacular cavern with impressive formations of stalactites and stalagmites, where you can swim and snorkel into refreshing and crystal clear water, while enjoying this wonderful underground place.
To complete this experience, you will visit the Natural Reserve of Punta Laguna, where you can explore the trails of the jungle in the search of monkeys and birds that live in total freedom. You can also zip line a cross the lagoon, and cross back the lagoon on a canoe and enjoy this beautiful landscape of water and jungle.
